Donors from all over the world have pledged billions of dollars as fund to drive a fight against malaria, AIDS and tuberculosis. The global fund raising conference was hosted by Justin Trudeau, Canadian prime minister. The total of $13 billion is targeted to be raised to battle malaria, AIDS and tuberculosis, Montreal Canada, the event took place on Friday and Saturday. The fight against these three deadly diseases will last through 2019.
In an opening address, Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau, said a sustained effort regarding the fight of these diseases, if not continued, will kill about 8000 people daily and the most vulnerable are women and children. And also the fight of these diseases will help reduce poverty.
