Lufthansa airline loose millions of dollars daily

   Lufthansa strike action has affected over 520,000 travellers and has cost the company millions of dollars on daily basis . The strike did not only affect German but other European countries and Asia including Africa . Business trips, tourism and leisure travelers have all been put to a hold by lufthansa pilots union strike .

Oil prices up as OPEC reaches cut deal

   Organization of petroleum exporting countries OPEC have reached a deal with its members to cut crude energy supply by 1.2 million barrels per day from the 33.64 million barrels per day . As a result of the supply cut by opec oil price have surged above $52 barrels per day .    Other non opec members like Russia and the United States are expected to cut supply by 600,000 barrels per day . According to a report from the meeting held today , this will help stabilize oil dependant economies and enhance global trade flow .

Donald trump has assured Americans of quality leadership

   US President elect Donald trump has said he will leave businesses and focus on making the United States a better place . This was a reassuring statement from Mr trump to all Americans as soon as he steps into office in January .

Airbus will cut 1100 jobs

   The European airline manufacturer AIRBUS has announced to cut its workforce by 1164 employees in France and German manufacturing plants . This company's chief executive officer Tom enders said this restructuring step is for profitability aim and will help the firm compete with its rival Boeing .    The company's employees strength is 136000, the management have decided to put the job cut on three bases , voluntary resignation , early retirement and redeployment .

Nigeria : reps desire fuel price drops to N70

   The Nigerian house of Representatives has been passing a motion to reduce petroleum pump price to N70 in the Senate.  This motion was an advise issued to the Nigerian petroleum products regulatory agency and moved by a member of the house Mr abubakar fulata . A committee has been set up to liaise with the ministry of petroleum resources on pump price reduction .

Thailand prepares naming a new King crown prince vajiralongkorn

   Thailand Parliament has agreed of sending a formal  invitation to crown prince vajiralongkorn which the Prince will accept before ascending the thrown but the Prince wanted to give himself one year to mourn his late father .

Cloned dogs arrives Russia

    Russian president Vladimir putin has imported police dogs that were cloned in a laboratory in South Korea . The dogs were cloned by Dr hwang woo suk and his team and said this new ones are more muscular and stronger than the natural breed . The Russian authorities say the only thing yet seen is the cannies are not use to cold weather but they will soon adapt .

Woman commits suicide after argument

   He shouted bady don't let go of me , as she fell from a four storey building from a hotel balcony in Athens, Greece.Denniel Higginson is the wife of a British oil company executive work, engineer Steve Higginson, who after having an argument with her parents during a holiday committed suicide.    The parents of denniel claims her controlling husband caused her death and that the Greece police should file a case against Steve in court but the hotel manager admitted that denniel 38, actually threw herself off the balcony .

Brazilian football team dies in a plane crash

   82 on board in an airplane which crashed in Colombia . The Brazilian national football team were among the passengers in the plane , only about ten survivals has been from the accident . Brazilians have began to mourn their football team who died in the crash . 

Park Geun-hye willing to resign

   South Korean president is officially announced that she is willing to resign . Tens of thousands of South Korean protesters have asked the government to look for a way to bring Park down from her position . Park Geun-hye has also asked some of the government officials who are in her cabinet to resign .

   Tennessee wildfire has forced a massive evacuation of people from their homes near the National Park . The fire has burnt down homes , government and individual properties worth billions of dollars .

Oil prices unstable as OPEC with others yet to agree

   The organization of petroleum exporting countries OPEC and non opec member countries are still in disarray on global crude oil supply cut . If a tangible agreement is not reached soon, then oil price might be heading for less than $40 per barrel which is a huge disadvantage for oil dependant economies .

   An Indonesian woman was publicly canned seven strokes at a mosque in aceh under sharia law for standing at close proximity with a man for some minutes . The man was also flogged as an offender of the sharia law .

   Tens of thousands of people took to the streets in major cities in India in protest against the overnight ban of two major rupee currency notes 500 and 1000 by the government in the country . The government say the move is for anti-corruption check as hundreds of people line up in banks waiting to exchange the old currency for the new one .

Woman begs for her husband's life support machine turned off

   A Gulf War veteran Mr Paul Briggs 43, a police officer after becoming a soldier had a motorcycle accident July last year and has been in comma since then . Mrs lindsey his wife 40 has been pleading with the court to turn off the life support machine but the doctors had bluntly refused her request .    Lindsey said her husband needs to die honourablely, his accidental brain damage has left him 17 months on a hospital  bed like a pop.

Lufthansa pilots union rejects new pay offer

   Lufthansa pilots union have rejected the new pay offer of additional 2.5 % presented to them but demanding for 3.7 % increase through the period of five years and will employ more one thousand junior pilots . The union say they are not planning to extend the strike beyond Saturday but says some flights and distances will not be operational .

Dozens of people die in Iranian train crash

   More than fourty two people have died in an Iranian train crash and over a hundred passengers wounded . Two trains collided along the railway that led to an explosion which resulted in the catastroph .    Authorities say the cause of the collision could be as a result of mechanical fault or probably cold weather which made the train to stop at the rail . Rescue team have completed their operations .

Top computer scientists persuade Clinton campaign to question election result

   Some top scientists in the US are persuading Hillary Clinton campaign to call for vote result recount in Pennsylvania , Michigan and Wisconsin States .    The computer scientists have said they believe they have found evidence of vote results that could have been manipulated or hacked and the scientists have presented their findings to top Clinton aides .    Obama's administration has been accusing Russian of attempting to breach voter registration data but election officials says it's almost impossible for election outcome to be influenced .

CAF suspends two referees for poor performance

   The confederation of African football has suspended two referees and one assistant for poor performance in the 2018 world Cup qualifiers . Fifa and uefa never comment publicly on performance of referees and linesmen .    Among the referees suspended by CAF for poor performance are Joseph lamptey from Ghana incorrectly awarded south Africa penalty to win Senegal 2-1,davies omweno from Kenya who denied lybia a valid goal that led to their defeat by Tunisia 0-1 and Berhe o'michael who wrongly flagged offside .
